CSET Test Prep

Do you need to pass the CSETs to become a teacher? 

The California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) are commonly used to verify subject matter competency towards admission into a California Preliminary Teaching Credential Program. Depending on your intended credential, you may be required to pass up to 3 standardized exams to verify your competency in a particular subject or discipline.
